Chosen by a Horse

There's nothing like the bond between a woman and her horse. There's something about the way they give that touches the heart; the soul. And when that bond is earned after betrayal it's weight is beyond measure. Kristen has been a horsewoman her whole life. A fabulous rider and equine partner, she adores her babies. Tripp, her bay Arabian horse, has been through years of rides, connection, and trust. Apple, on the other hand, had a hard life until Kristen came into it. He was abused and fearful, untrusting and unsure. It took time, and assurance for them to learn how to talk to one another and how to listen. When a heart is hurting, horses are good medicine. We give. We receive. We love. We trust. We listen. We breathe. And all is well in the world for a few hours.
